Welcome to our "official" Blogspot for the Hunting Ridge Reading Club Steppin' Out. This spot is a place where we can celebrate the books we have been reading and find up to date information about the next book club gathering.
Over our ten some years of gathering we have had fantastic times together. Often we met at a member's home but other times we met at a restaurant or special place with a "loungey" feel to it...I mean like a real lounge, a teacher's lounge on a rainy Saturday. We have laughed together, cried together, and sat in awe before a group of real authors who shared their stories. We passed around pictures of our kids and grand kids, cottages and puppies. We have swapped recipes, shared concerns and celebrated good health and retirements with raised glass.
Feel free to add your ideas to the blog and any book titles we might be missing. Those little grey cells seem to be diminishing with each passing season but if we all put our noodles together we'll come up with all of the books we have read.
